No good for frost/ice – I’m sure they work for a funnel and likely snow. But as for frost and ice? No. Stick with your traditional ice scrapers. The edge on these are not sharp enough to get the frost off. Just kind of glides over it. The little piece will score the frost but then the funnel part won’t take the rest off. Disappointed.

Very useful – I’m glad I decided to buy this snow scraper. It’s that time of the year, and snow is just piling onto my car. The brush rotates to make it easier to reach those hard to reach places. The brush also extends, which is a nice addition. I liked this one so much, I even bought the other style they had on their listing. I highly recommend this, especially for such a great price.

Many uses – This is a must have for your vehicle not only does it allow you to scrape the snow off the windshield and windows but also the vehicle. It’s easy to hold and can also detach the tips and use this as a funnel when you need to add fluids mess free. It works year round and should be kept in the car under the seat or in the trunk

I got this just in time–frost all over windshield the next morning! – I really like this brush/scraper set, and it arrived just in time! The next morning, my car, which has to sit outside, was covered with icy frost, and I had to head out to an appointment. The ice scraper worked a treat and between it and the defrost heat, I had visibility in no time. The brush will come in very handy for snow removal–and we expect snow any time. The scraper/brush has a handle that is very adjustable–and it has a foam grip (!) so you not only can hold it tightly, but not freeze your fingers off like you would if the handle were metal. I am short–uh, petite–and the ability to extend the handle is really a bonus for me. I could easily reach to the middle of the front windshield from each side, to clear it. The brush can be used either vertically or horizontally, which is also a plus. Everything appears to be well made and durable, and I am delighted to have this set. I would recommend it to anyone who lives where frost, ice and/or snow can be a problem. It is not safe to even attempt to drive with an occluded windshield! And putting warm or hot water on it can result in a crack–don’t ask me how I know! A scraper and brush are the safest and best way to remove ice, frost, or snow! This would make a great gift for a loved one who may not have a set of their own, or whose scraper/brush need replacing. The cost was very reasonable, it is well made, and windshield visibility is soooo important!

Great scraper for light ice and snow – This ice scraper comes in 3 pieces that fit together easily. The telescoping feature isn’t very smooth, but you can lock it in place by twisting the handle. The brush is very narrow (only about 1″ wide), but I like that it easily and securely rotates for storage. The downside of this mechanism is that while I’m reaching for the center of the windshield, I find myself holding the scraper by this part. Either I accidentally press the button to rotate the brush, or it moves out of place on its own, but it can be annoying. Maybe it’s just my technique.

Portable Snow Scraper – Purchased for my son after the first snow fall. The instructions on the product page are much more thorough than the ones included with the brush/scraper. Snow scraper is portable and versatile. Have not had to use the ice scraper yet. Brush works fine in removing heavy wet and light “dry” snow easily. As other reviewers have mentioned, the scraper feels flimsy and the metal bar is lightweight. The true test of durability will come when we’re able to use it regularly with the inevitable snow and ice hit.
