12 inches long makes a difference in comfort and position – I tried other seat belt covers which were 9 inches long. I needed to move the pad to the right spot for comfort and the padding was too thick. Because of the length I don’t need to reposition the pad as often. The padding is thinner but more comfortable due to the soft leather.
