Nice product, but why not add charging? – I gave this an overall 4-Star because it does what it claims to do, and it does it well. The air-vent fastening mechanism is solid and secure, and holds the phone well. However, I’m disappointed that it doesn’t include charging so I can charge my iPhone 12 Pro. I returned this device, and ordered another off Amazon that does just that, charges and holds the phone.

Great with one caveat… – Really good mount that works on almost any straight-vane vent. May work on round but only if the curve is gradual (I.e. the vent is a large circle on the outside edge). Magnet is very strong. Two things to note… First, be aware that this will lock out adjustability of external vanes on the vent where you install it. Inside vent may still be adjustable but that will depend on how close you mount it to the adjusting vane. This was not clear to me when I ordered. Second, the mount is not as strongly attracted to your iPhone if you have the Apple wallet or other non-magnetic layer between the phone and mount. I stuck one of the provided magnetic rings centered on the outside of my wallet which looked pretty good (Apple logo centered in the ring) but needed to bend it on the very edges to conform to the wallet shape otherwise it would have left an exposed lip on either side that would have made easier to get pulled off by mistake if it caught on something.

I got a Hyundai Sonata 2012 so if you have a Sonata 2011-2014 this product will work with your cars air vents. I also got Apple’s magsafe case which might also help with the suction power but nevertheless a great product!
