Very stable and can be mounted out of the direction of the vent – I got this to replace another product I bought from Amazon. I needed something much more stable. As an added bonus, I thought it would be useful to have something that could be mounted away from the vents for those days when I am driving and want the a/c blowing directly in front of me. The product is working fine and seems to be well made. It hooks onto the back of the vent slat, which took a little time for my 2020 Prius, but in the end it worked out fine (the four stars for installation are because the instructions weren’t that helpful in handling that concern).

Best holder so far! – I initially didn’t want a vent holder because I didn’t want my phone damaged when the ac or heat was turned on, so I spent tons of money purchasing adhesive dashboard holders that would just melt and fall off. Decided to give this a try and it has been great so far. The back of my phone doesn’t obstruct the air flow from the vents, or get overheated or cold when air is on. The phone stays secure even when traveling on bumpy NYC roads. You can turn it horizontally so it’s almost as if you have one of those raised infotainment screens (for those of us with older cars). If anything bad can be said I guess I wish it had wireless charging.

Good phone mount w/o blocking air vents – This mount works well. Multiple positioning options. I took away a star for the short mount clip. My car vent is long, the clip fully extended did not easily clear the length to mount. I had to creatively maneuver the clip to secure and lock to the vent. My advice to the manufacturer is to give it just a bit more cm.

Most versatile phone holder I have found – My wife started driving for InstaCart this summer and needed a holder for directions to each customer’s home. Unfortunately, she drives a 2006 Highlander, which evidently has very odd vents and nothing worked until I found this one. It only works on the far left vent, and it isn’t perfect, but it is far better than the rest.

“MEH”, but great customer service – UPDATE: After reading my review, I was contacted by customer service at Lisen. The rep seemed genuine in her apology and asked how to make my experience more positive. She offered a replacement, a different item from their store, or refund… my choice. I have to say it was refreshing to have someone take time to prove they stand behind their product. My phone is the S22ultra, with a full body case. It’s Big. So this car mount doesn’t work for me. If they had one that was a bit “beefier”, I would’ve exchanged it just bcuz the confidence I now have in Lisen. Sadly, I will have to keep looking. Regardless, I’ve changed my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars, if only for the customer care. I can’t give 5 stars bcuz other people have large phones too and this particular holder isn’t designed for us.

Finally! – I finally found one that sits in a perfect spot. Even though two came, I use the smallest on the left side of my steering wheel. Sometimes, the fastener around the phone loosens w a tough drive. My phone has even slipped out a few. But I still think it’s better than others I’ve tried.

It’s easy to install and it swivels in any direction you want. Comes with two different attachments depending on how you want to set it up in your car. I have a Samsung Galaxy 21 Ultra and it works great and my wife has and iPhone and she uses it too when she’s driving.
