Easy installation, should protect leather seats – Purchased primarily to protect the leather seats in our car from dents or divots, the dense pad looks like it will do the trick while also providing some spill-proofing, but as the sides only extend a few inches away from the seat on either side, it doesn’t provide much. It was extremely easy to install and the configuration of the protector did not interfere with seat installation at all. The front mesh pocket is likely not positioned in such a way that it will be very useful for my either of my grandsons (ages 3 and 4 yrs) as they cannot reach down far enough to get anything out and I can only reach around from the front seat to get anything from 1 of 2 pockets if I am in the front passenger seat. If someone is sitting in the backseat, they would provide a small amount of storage for a sandwich size bag of snacks, travel pack of tissue or a few small toys. The price point was great when compared to protectors with similar dimensions and features.

Must have for installing car seat on leather seats – I bought two of these for our first child almost 3 years ago, and I’m buying 2 more with our second child on the way. My wife and I have had these in our cars since day one with a car seat (including clicking base with carrier and all in one seat types). The times we have had to take the car seats out show the leather seats look brand new still. No dimples or wrinkles in the leather, and no material from these covers adhering to the leather like I’ve seen from other brand reviews. There is some indentation you can feel deeper in the seat foam from having to crank down on getting the seat safely installed, but it is very minor, maybe a thicker material seat cover could prevent that, but it is very minor. Nothing that affects the visible appearance of the seat or the leather material.
