Hard to figure out. – The instructions were not clear. It took me forever to figure out that the hook extends and detracts by twisting the part that will sit closest to the vent (away from ball and pivot phone mount). After watching a video over and over, and after much experimentation, and with no help from the instructions, I figured it out. Otherwise, I would have rated it a 5.

working well – I like it so far, holds my phone great. I love that I can adjust the pivoting head on this. There is no way this is going to fall off since there is a lip on the part that slips through the vent. Really great design. I only wish the instructions explained how to put the two pieces together. I figured out you have to loosen the neck all the way, push the opening onto the ball part, then tighten the neck. this even comes with two magnets that you can adhere to your phone inside the case so it is hidden, or you can adhere right to the back of your case. I chose to place the l=magnet inside and it holds suer well, it does not interfere with the strength of the magnet.
