It wobbles… – If you re going over any mind of a bumpy road, it swings around enough to make it difficult to view stuff on the screen. If you don’t have it hanging straight down, it will adjust your mirror for you.

Check your mirror’s thickness and your state laws first! – Somehow I missed the hidden text that it’s not for a 2016 Chevy Trax – I have a 2018, the mirrors aren’t any different. But I was able to get this onto the back of the mirror by extending the legs. It’s not on there solid enough so the arm/phone will shake a little and it’s not strong enough to touch the phone’s screen without some movement. It survived a 4 hour road trip without falling off or dropping the phone even though it probably isn’t on there as designed. I was surprised it didn’t weigh down the mirror or make it shake too.

Vehicle fitment list not accurate! – Ordered this product for wife’s VW Eos and it was indicated as it would fit. When I tried to install it but did not work. I thought I would use it on one of my other vehicles and it would not fit them either! I was very disappointed because it looked like a nice sturdy unit. I liked the idea of no suction cups that tend to leave a nasty goo on the glass or dash when they get worn out from the heat.

It is quite sturdy (I dropped the entire assembly down our brick stairs while walking to install it) and very lightweight. Yet, it’s the “lightweight” that is a little “not-so-awesome” when driving and (possibly) needing to be on a video call or meeting (lots of jiggling!).
