Cushions Dropped Key Very Well – I’ve had these (black and gray) covers for about 6 months now and i’m really happy with em. The plastic housing on the Mazda key is slippery and easily dropped, but this cover makes the key much grippier and greatly reduces us dropping the key, and if we do drop it the soft cover cushions the impact. Before the cover, we’d dropped the keys a few times and the little chrome plastic end piece came off (was able to snap it back on though once i found where it flew off to). This cover completely solves that problem. I use the black one as my primary key, and the gray one is on the spare key that the wife keeps in her purse for use as a valet key and also if she needs to use the car when i’m not around. The soft silicone is easily cleaned and also adds a little water-proofing to the key as a bonus. Both are holding up very well. I briefly tried another hard plastic carbon-fiber-look cover before this one but it made the key a lot thicker than with the Silicone cover, and it was just as slippery as the naked key. I like these Silicone ones MUCH Better.
