Screen broke 1st day – Screen broke first day all the fittings came loose

OK – I really wanted to like this but the barb was too small to fit in my standard air hose. I have to go to Harbor Freight and get one. The connector to the tire nozzle is pretty flimsy so I am glad I am only using this a couple times a year.

The tale of three gauges – Face it, any time you buy a measuring device of any kind you have to wonder, how accurate is this? Most times it isn’t critical knowing, but for me it always bothers me until I have some way of verifying accuracy.

The numbers on the dial aren’t working properly – The numbers on the dial for the pressure aren’t working properly. I can’t tell what the actual pressure reading is. Cheap product or manufacturers defect, not sure, guess I shouldn’t expect much from a Chinese product.

Works well for me, but has one odd attribute – I love that this clips to the valve stem and that it’s basic and easy and I won’t fear messing it up. One thing that is weird is the display behavior while filling. It feels a bit like the characters that flash by the screen on “The Matrix” in it’s usefulness to understand. The numbers are jumpy and it takes a few seconds to understand what the level is once releasing the trigger. All in all, a decent unit for the DIY homeowner.

Bad unit – It seems like I was sold a returned unit after someone damaged the threads, or it is poorly manufactured. The fitting that came with it slid in, not threaded, 90% of the way before any thread engagement. It would not seal, even after trying multiple layers of Teflon tape. Other than that, the gauge works well and the display is clear. Just wish I would have used it sooner to have exchanged it.
