Seems solid and sturdy. – I purchase this to use with a Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra. I have it in an Otterbox defender case. As with another windshield mount I purchased I had to modify the bottom 2 fingers that hold the phone up. The gthe gap was too narrow for the Otterbox case’s power cover tab to pull it down to plug in the power cord. I had to grind those fingers narrower with a Dremel in order to make it work. There is plenty of extra width on the fingers to make that work. It wasn’t difficult since I had the Dremel just took a little effort. All in all it seems very strong and sturdy mounted on the windshield and I think it will work out well.

Customer service – I had ordered 2 of these mounts. I like that they came with different fittings to suit different vents. It does take some time to figure out the best position on the vent to mount the holder, however, once you figure it out, you need to make sure it’s clamped down nice & tight, otherwise it will kinda flop around when driving. The issue I had was when tightening one of them down, the internal mechanism broke. It would no longer clamp down tight on the vent. I contacted Torras customer service, after a couple of photos/video of the issue, they were more than happy to send out a replacement at no additional cost. To me, customer service is the one thing that can make or break a company, I would rather pay a little more for a product knowing the company stands behind what they make.

Universal Mount, Easy to Use, and Great Customer Service – The first 3 pictures shows mount installed on aftermarket dash bin. The clamps, which they did tighten, didn’t clamp the dash bin enough so I used tape on both sides to secure it. This is a replacement mount as the first one I had had the plastic ball joint connection break off the back of the mount. I contacted Torras warranty via email and that service has been exceptional. I’d have to say I’ve never had such personalized customer service before and they were helpful and prompt and sending a replacement of the unit, which was less than a year old. The last 2 pictures shows mount installed in truck air vent. This mount didn’t hold very securely and I’m constantly having to fix it. I do have it tightened very hard but the narrow vent is just the wrong size for that clamp. I may try a different clamping strategy there. I have not used the suction cups mount as I’ve had poor experience with those before, but I see the adhesion parts included seems to provide parts to make suction cup mounting strategies work better. Last thing, on the mount in my truck, when I press the back button, the side clamps don’t easily open and I often have to use a 2nd hand to open them. That seems like lack of lubrication or something else causing that I’m going to try and fix that myself. Price was great, warranty is great, customer service is great, so I have purchased 2 of these already for my 2 vehicles.

My iPhone and wallet are 1 1/4″ thick and the side clamps work easily to hold it in place. I have this mounted on a golf car windscreen and it has held the phone in place and stayed attached the entire time even after about 60 miles of golf cart path and golf course travel. Seems very well made and a great value!

Rolin worked with me until I received their newest model with all the upgrades. It’s significantly better than the one I purchase 6 months earlier!
