hard to insert at first, but works well! – It works precisely as stated, although I did have a little trouble inserting it into my car’s port at first. I had to use a *little* bit of force to get in all the way, but initially after that it wasn’t too hard plugging the charger in or getting it out again. The cord that’s included is also of very nice quality and is a nice addition along with the plug.

When plugged into your 12V car port a pilot light confirms power. When you connect your phone to the USB-C port (and if you’re using a phone that supports Super Fast Charging) then you’ll be pleased to see your phone is charging at the Super Fast rate. If you use a USB-A cable to USB-C, you’ll still receive Fast Charging. A lot of adaptability in a small device. Highly recommend.

Super compact and powerful! A great complement to my Qi charger – It’s been difficult to find a qi charger and USB adapter that worked well together in terms of providing an actual fast charge. Finally, this AINOPE charger did it successfully, and I’m really happy to have a fast charging wireless solution in-car. It feels super sturdy, being made with metal, and I’m sure that helps significantly with heat dissipation for the power supply, I’ve been using it for a month now and it’s been great. The blue LED illumination is also a nice touch. Also really like how compact it is. I’m able to close the 12V cover on my F150 with the unit in place. Not a huge deal, but a nice bonus in terms of it feeling integrated with the car.

My car charger was a cheap $3 thing and could barely keep my phone charged. I plugged this one in and as you can see on the bottom of my screen picture, it says fast charging. I tested with different cords, including the one that came with my phone and the one that came with this kit and they all read fast charging. The plug is much heavier than I expected and sits almost flush, which I really like. The C port connection and USB connection both read fast charging, so I’m not sure what the other reviewers are using to cause theirs not to fast charge. Overall I’m very pleased, hopefully it’ll last a while.

All that’s available on older cars is your standard 12v cigarette lighter sockets. In the past I used rather large 12v to USB wired dongles, luckily we have these sweet adapters now for a much more elegant solution.
