Really works!! – I have wasted so much money on other phone mounts only to be disappointed. This one actually held the phone on the really rough sections of I-20 in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Such a relief to not have my phone drop on the floor especially when using the gps on my phone. I will have to get another one in the spring for our truck. The rough roads are accentuated when we pull our fifth wheel.

Car vent mount works great on vertical slat vents – I was unable to use the telescoping arm of the product because I did not have a surface which was suitable for it to mount. The windshield may have worked but it obscured far too much of my fiend of vision when mounted there. If you plan to use this part instead of the vent mount, make absolutely sure that you have a completely flat surface on your dash that’s sufficient size for the mounting.

Best one I’ve found! – I’ve tried four of these kinds of phone holders. I ended up buying 3 of this one because nothing else matched it quality. Super east to set up. Heavy duty suction cup hasn’t budged once in 6 months, even when off road with lots of vibrations and bumps. The arm holds it position well through that too, doesn’t budge and the BEST part of this holder is that I can swivel it sideways for navigation and the one click release allow me to manage and put my phone on and off with one hand. Daughter and wife love theirs so far.

I used an un-scented alcohol sanitizer on a paper towel and scrubbed it! Once the area was completely dried I placed the adhesive disc and pressed down hard. The instructions say to let things rest for a day. I erred on the side of caution and left it for a day and a half. Here is the catch!! You have to mount the suction lever towards the windshield. If you mount it any other way it will fall off! I’ve tried to sow this in my 2d photo. The end result is a very stable mount that survived a brutally hot North Carolina summer.
